NIOSH-approved to filter certain acid gases. Compatible with 3M™ 6000, 7000, and FF-400 series half-mask and full-face respirators (with cartridge style filter holder).
Versatile applications include chemical manufacturing, glass etching, pulp and paper, and laboratory settings. When properly fitted, in half-mask use, it can effectively filter concentrations up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, chlorine dioxide, or hydrogen sulfide (NIOSH); in full-face use, up to 50 times the PEL. Full-face respirators require quantitative fit testing to achieve a minimum assigned protection factor of 10 in negative pressure mode. Not for use in IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health) environments.
