NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) approved for ammonia and methylamine protection. Designed for use with 3M™ 6000, 7000, and FF-400 series half-mask and full-facepiece respirators (with a cartridge-style filter holder).

Suitable for a variety of applications including agriculture, chemical manufacturing, laboratories, and food industries. When properly installed, it provides respiratory protection by filtering ammonia and methylamine. In half-mask use, the filters can be used for concentrations up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL). In full-facepiece use, the filters can be used for concentrations up to 50 times the PEL. Full-facepiece respirators must undergo quantitative fit testing and achieve a fit factor of 10 or greater in negative pressure mode. It should not be used in IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health) environments.
