The 3M™ 6001 Organic Vapor Cartridge provides organic vapor protection in a variety of environments. When used with a half-mask respirator, the filter is suitable for up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of vapors; when used with a full-face respirator, it is suitable for up to 50 times the PEL of vapors. Applications for this cartridge include assembly and machining, material handling, transfer, chemical dispensing, cleanup, washing, painting, parts cleaning, and sealing/coating. This versatile cartridge helps reduce the inventory and training requirements for safety equipment across various applications.
