Certified to the NIOSH P95 standard in the US and the KP95 standard in China, this respirator features an activated carbon layer to provide protection against particulates and acidic gas odors.

The 3M™ P8576 P95 Particulate and Acid Gas Respirator effectively filters out certain oil-based and non-oil-based particulates, with a filtration efficiency of ≥95%. The activated carbon filter media helps reduce exposure to acidic gas odors*. The soft inner lining enhances comfort, and the cup-shaped design provides ample space and durability. The M-shaped nose clip is adjustable to help reduce potential fogging of eyewear and assist in achieving a secure seal. This respirator combines 3M's Cool Flow exhalation valve with advanced electrostatically charged microfiber filter media to enhance breathability. The woven headbands help improve comfort and wearability. Recommended applications include glass etching, chemical processing, paper manufacturing, aluminum smelting, and brewing operations, where particulates and acidic gases such as sulfur dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, and/or chlorine may be present. Additional applications include grinding, sanding, blasting, bagging, and other dusty/oily operations. Note: This respirator is not for use as a face shield and is only for respiratory protection.
This respirator is equipped with the 3M Cool Flow exhalation valve, suitable for high-heat, high-humidity, or long-wear applications. The 3M Cool Flow exhalation valve is designed to rapidly release heat and moisture, helping to prevent the build-up of uncomfortable heat inside the respirator, a major contributor to wearer discomfort.

This respirator is a NIOSH-approved P95 respirator, suitable for use in environments containing certain oil-based and non-oil-based particulates, with a 95% filtration efficiency.

*3M recommends for reducing exposure to acidic gas odors. Odor levels refer to concentrations below the OSHA PEL or other applicable government occupational exposure limit, whichever is lower.
