Adamas-life® Taq DNA Polymerase (Mg2+ plus Buffer, with dNTP) is a heat-stable DNA polymerase derived from the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus YT-1. It is expressed and purified from Escherichia coli that has been cloned with the gene for this polymerase and is tested to be free of nucleases, RNase, and bacterial DNA. This enzyme has 5' to 3' polymerase activity and 5' to 3' exonuclease activity, but it does not have 3' to 5' exonuclease activity. The PCR products have an adenine (A) overhang at the 3' end, allowing them to be directly used for T-cloning into vectors.
